The City of Winter Springs announces that both photo red light traffic safety cameras located at SR 434 traveling east bound @ Winding Hollow and Vistawilla Drive are now live. The 30 day warning period for violations captured by the traffic safety camera has ended as of January 23, 2010. The registered owner shall receive a notice of the violation if the vehicle does not make a complete stop at the intersection or a complete stop prior to turning right on a steady red light, unless the driver of the motor vehicle received a citation from a law enforcement officer at the time of the red light infraction. The City of Winter Springs continues to promote traffic safety to the community with its efforts to reduce accidents and injuries associated with these types of violations.
