2009 Shop With a Cop

The Police Department was able to take 40 kids shopping for the holidays.  Each child was able to spend $100.00 on gifts, received a new bicycle with a helmet, and eat breakfast with a police officer. 

Thank you to everyone that donated funds, items, and or their time to make this a special day for the kids of our community.

 Winter Springs Police Department and the children had a very fun Ultimate Frisbee week.

2009 Cops for Kids House Charity Flag Football Game

(4-25-2009)
 Winter Springs Police Department competed against the Oviedo Police Department in the First Annual Cops for Kids House Charity Flag Football Game. The charity event raised over $2,500.00 which was presented to Kids House of Seminole.

2009 Coppers-N-Choppers
(3-14-2009)
 Winter Springs Police Department participated in the 2009 Coppers-N-Choppers event held by the Altamonte Springs Police Department to raise money for Kids House of Seminole and Police Explorer Post #596. Winter Springs Motor Officers Corporal John Shea and Corporal Michelle Angeloff competed in the Law Enforcement Motorcycle Rodeo. Corporal Shea placed third in the individual event with Corporal Angeloff placing fourth. The pair also competed in the doubles event and placed fourth.
