SeminoleWAY is a strategic economic development initiative focused on attracting high value jobs and businesses to Seminole County. SeminoleWAY is associated with the State Road 417 corridor, that spans the length of Seminole County. SeminoleWAY is a forward looking plan that involves a targeted approach to economic development in partnership with the cities ofWinter Springs, Oviedo andSanford. The intent of this target areas is to connect to the similar "Innovation Way" in Orange County and to attract high quality, higher income jobs to Seminole County.
The intersection of State Road 417 and State Road 434 is known as the Greeneway Interchange District (GID) and lies within the SeminoleWAY corridor. The GID has the largest consolidation of vacant developable land within the City under one ownership.
