With a population of 39,394 as of 2022, Winter Springs offers a serene and secure environment, nestled south of the renowned Lake Jesup and a mere 20-minute drive northeast of downtown Orlando. Our exceptional Police Department has contributed to Winter Springs being recognized as one of the safest cities in all of Florida, ranking within the top 10 in 2022.

Operating under a Commission/Manager form of government, Winter Springs focuses on effective governance and community engagement. We take pride in our strong educational system, comprising seven public schools and numerous private schools within our city borders. Furthermore, our close proximity to esteemed institutions like the University of Central Florida and Full Sail further enhances educational opportunities for our residents.
